Data Deletion Instructions

This page explains how to stop Zaaz (Super Zaaz Collective Inc.) from accessing your social-account data and how to have the data we hold about you deleted. It covers accounts connected through our Instagram integration (the “Zaaz” app, via Meta’s official API) and accounts connected through our data partner Phyllo (YouTube, TikTok). Our Privacy Policy describes what we collect and why.

1. Disconnect your account, stops our access immediately

Disconnecting revokes our access right away: from that moment we can no longer read any data from your account. To also delete the data already collected, submit a deletion request (section 2).

Instagram

  1. Open Instagram and go to Settings.
  2. Open Apps and Websites.
  3. Find Zaaz in the list of active apps and tap Remove.

YouTube / TikTok (connected via Phyllo)

  1. Open your Zaaz account settings at app.zaaz.co and disconnect the account, or
  2. Remove the connection in the platform’s own connected-apps settings.

2. Request deletion of your data

Either of the following triggers full deletion of your personal data:

  • In the app: log in at app.zaaz.co and delete your account in Account settings. Account deletion triggers deletion of all associated data.
  • By email: write to privacy@zaaz.co from the email address associated with your Zaaz account, or include your platform @username so we can locate your data. No Zaaz account is required to submit a request.

3. What gets deleted

  • Profile data from your connected accounts (username, name, picture, counts).
  • Content metadata and performance insights for your posts and account.
  • Audience demographic data associated with your account.
  • Comments data collected from your media, including commenter identifiers.
  • Access tokens and account connections.
  • Our internal analytics copies of all of the above.

Aggregated, de-identified statistics that cannot be linked back to you may be retained (for example, anonymous benchmarks across the Zaaz member base).

4. Timeline and confirmation

  1. We acknowledge your request within a few business days.
  2. Deletion is completed within 30 days of your request or account deletion.
  3. We send you a confirmation when the deletion is complete.
